In the
past 48 hours, opinions have formed on each side of the aisle
about the causes for the unthinkable massacre at a town
hall event hosted by Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Saturday.
Some more reasoned thinkers have looked at the shooter’s
mental history and YouTube ramblings for clues. Others
are rightfully questioning how a mentally ill man was able to
legally purchase the murder weapon in the first place. But
some illogical and cruel attention-seakers are still looking to pin
the events on a vague reference to Tea Party rhetoric and Sarah
Palin directly. What saddened me the most were some of the
opinions I saw in the immediate wake of the chilling events
that occurred in the Tucson supermarket. I was shocked
by a lot of the blog posts and tweets that were being sent to me in
the first few hours of the tragedy. Logic and reason mostly win out
as time passes, however to see the liberal scapegoating before my
eyes was a sad display of the continued evil and divisive
immaturity that remains a force for the Far Left of this
country.

Massive, Violent, Racist, TEA Party Protest

On March 23, President Obama signed his Health Care Bill into law. A day later the news was wall to wall with coverage about the hate filled speech and threats against members of Congress. I know it has been a long year of debating health care but I was still left looking for answers on what was now actually law. I would have liked to hear more about the government taking over the student loan program or the Ready Reserve Corps. Why does that stuff have to be apart of Health Care Reform? (more…)

Stay classy, liberal wing. A man was arrested at the Mall of America in Minneapolis for throwing a few tomatoes at Sarah Palin during a book signing.  Unfortunately for the Henry Rollins look-a-like, his aim was off and he instead hit a couple of cops and is now looking at assault of an officer charges.  As you’d imagine from last year’s shoe-tossing incident in Iraq – in liberal circles, Mr. Tomatohead is being hailed a hero.  The report from WCCO in Minnesota and a link to some liberal sites celebrating the act after the jump…  (more…)

Palin's Controversial Newsweek Cover

Everyone is an exaggeration, but at times it sure does feel like the world hates Sarah Palin. In reality, her political presence is no more than any commentator, politician, or newsmaker. However, the mainstream media likes to make mega-stars and they’ve found a contender in Palin. Popular websites have entire pages dedicated to their bloggers items taking her to task. But its not just Palin, its many conservative women. Last week, Carrie Prejean was the enemy du jour. Initially marked with a scarlet letter for responding to a pageant question with her honest feelings about marriage, every mis-step this 22-year old woman now makes is another reason for liberals to openly mock her. Its no wonder many are asking why all the hatred and sexism towards these conservative women? (more…)
