The year is nearly over – time to review what’s happened in 2010 while we look forward to a superb 2011. I’ve picked a few posts we’ve done each month this year…some were more enlightening, some were more argumentative, and some were just more entertaining. We took all of December off, but look forward to getting back at posting more in 2011. Thanks for visiting the site this year, and wish y’all a Happy, Blessed, and Prosperous New Year. (more…)

With a little help from today’s news, Bill O’reilly and his recurring guest Bernard Goldberg have finally convinced me. I now agree with them that the media is not just biased in opinion, but is corrupt in their tactics and means they will use to push their agenda. If you’ve ever questioned the leanings and power of a “covertly” slanted media, look no further than the past week and a half. The hubbub over the Arizona Illegal Immigration law points to a trend that should frighten even the leftist of left-wingers. I believe the media, working in possible collusion with open-borders proponents and morally confused liberals have engaged in a campaign to blatantly distort, discredit and outright lie about the new Arizona law.

Health Care Spin Will Not Die

Unlike “grandma”, one thing that will not die is the spin surrounding the Health Care debate. So let’s recap where we are right now with the new health care law: In the past week, a bunch of pompous speeches and voting have taken place, and in the end, all it means is the bill is still passed. That was the short summary ignoring all the bloviating (thank you, Mr. O’Reilly). Meanwhile, the President continues to tour across American campaigning about this bill. Isn’t it a bit scary that the President needs to put so much effort in selling this bill to the American people after a year of debating? This man could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. Anyways, of all the talk, the most intriguing part to me is how the Left and the media are working desperately to spin the storyline away from the bill and on to circumstantial events. (more…)

Everyone Hates Palin

Everyone is an exaggeration, but at times it sure does feel like the world hates Sarah Palin. In reality, her political presence is no more than any commentator, politician, or newsmaker. However, the mainstream media likes to make mega-stars and they’ve found a contender in Palin. Popular websites have entire pages dedicated to their bloggers items taking her to task. But its not just Palin, its many conservative women. Last week, Carrie Prejean was the enemy du jour. Initially marked with a scarlet letter for responding to a pageant question with her honest feelings about marriage, every mis-step this 22-year old woman now makes is another reason for liberals to openly mock her. Its no wonder many are asking why all the hatred and sexism towards these conservative women? (more…)

Let’s be clear about what the Obama Administration has done in the past few weeks. They have engaged in an attempt to vilify, discredit, and demean the most widely viewed news channel, Fox News. Much of the analysis regarding this unprecedented display of partisanship has been focused around the effects this may have on the Administration’s approval ratings, or whether or not this will actually help the powerful news station attract more viewers (more…)
