Sounds About Right....

Straightforward eloquence is not a virtue we have been subjected to lately. Disillusionment seems to reign the day as cognitive dissonance and a near universal lack of objectivity has permeated even our most trustworthy sources of news and information.  Although hyperbole and self-aggrandizement are nothing new, their effectiveness and usage rates seem to be increasing exponentially.  In short, activists, commentators, journalists, professors, and even pastors have played a part in Stealing Language.     (more…)

Late Friday night Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives were burning the midnight oil trying to figure out a way to pass a health care bill. nancy-pelosi1 One problem remained, abortion. After years of pestering the democrats it once again reared its ugly head becoming a hurdle for the historic vote to take place.
