We are almost a full week into the debate on the new immigration law passed in the state of Arizona and the heated rhetoric is still prevalent. The opponents are bringing out the big outrage guns through marches planned by Rev. Sharpton, boycotts against traveling to Arizona, boycotts against companies headquartered in Arizona, and even boycotts against Arizona iced tea…which is manufactured in New York (like a bad salsa commercial). Facebook groups against the bill have been created, Paul Rodriguez has canceled his comedy tour through Arizona, and people are picketing the Arizona Diamondbacks…even on the road. You cannot view the media without finding some opinion relating the law to racism, Nazi Germany, or apartheid which no doubt should shape the opinion of the nation. Unless it hasn’t. (more…)

Illegal Immigration, Fairness and Apartheid

Last Friday, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed State Bill 1070 into law.  The reformed immigration law states, “The provisions of this act are intended to work together to discourage and deter the unlawful entry and presence of aliens and economic activity by persons unlawfully present in the United States.”  Its intent couldn’t be any clearer.  Basing the decision on the Federal Government’s clear dereliction of duty to protect what George Will calls “the essential attribute of national sovereignty,” Arizonans decided to expand law enforcement’s reach in cracking down on illegal aliens.  In the few days since its passage we have seen mass protests and arrests, groups already suing, political jockeying and emotional rabble-rousing to the third degree.  (more…)

If you’ve ever watched South Park, you know the show is unafraid to go after anybody.  Its their satirical look at all walks of life and topical events that has kept the show fresh and maintained its high viewership for 14 seasons.  But on their 200th episode special, they have sparked the anger of a radical Islamic organization that have posted a veiled threat against the creators of the show, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.  (UPDATE: Summary from last night’s show at the bottom) (more…)

Whether or not the average American realizes it, we are on the brink of an important ideological shift regarding the future of our country.  In clear opposition to America’s Founding Principles of limited government, free enterprise and individual liberty, President Obama and the Democratic Party are fundamentally transforming our nation.  And although Obama ran as a moderate looking to unite during his presidential campaign, he clearly articulated his vision prior to the election.  His goal was simple; to transform America.  A few months after inauguration he outlined his agenda (which was reaffirmed during his first State of the Union Address), and has since worked tirelessly to implement each step he believes will usher in a new era of American life.  An American life unified with leftist values; dependence on big government, and a financial and social system on par with our western European allies.  Call me conservative, a Tea Party member, a right-wing radical or extremist all you want, but the evidence supporting my “theory” of our impending ideological shift by so-called Democratic mandate is overwhelming.  (more…)

This is a post I wanted to write about a month ago when I saw Sean Penn on Bill Maher’s HBO show.  Sean Penn is not unfamiliar to controversy or saying derogatory things about those who disagree with him.  A few weeks back he said, “Do I hope those people (who disagree with him) die of rectal cancer? Yeah.”  His blind socialist views have led him to reject democratic freedoms, and rejoice a dictator like Hugo Chavez.  Rather than helping the less fortunate that he claims to achieve, he is slapping the poor in the mouth by aligning himself with a man like Chavez.

Sean Penn is undeniably a terrific actor and activist for many good causes.  But his ambition to promote a socialist agenda has stripped him of his ability to have logical thoughts. He is still adored by the uneducated liberals, but by the majority of Americans and even immigrants his political ideology are reckless and self-promoting.  (more…)

Massive, Violent, Racist, TEA Party Protest

Massive, Violent, Racist, TEA Party Protest

On March 23, President Obama signed his Health Care Bill into law. A day later the news was wall to wall with coverage about the hate filled speech and threats against members of Congress. I know it has been a long year of debating health care but I was still left looking for answers on what was now actually law. I would have liked to hear more about the government taking over the student loan program or the Ready Reserve Corps. Why does that stuff have to be apart of Health Care Reform? (more…)
