A few times per week, around noon time we will post a few op-ed pieces from newspapers, mainstream websites, or elsewhere from the blogosphere:
A good op-ed in the Wash Post. Displays the uselessness of the UN, and the blatant anti-Semitism amongst the US and world liberal community.
A Huffington Post article that coincides with the above Wash Post Opinion piece. Congress moved for a vote to condemn the slanted anti-Israeli “Goldstone Report.” A number of democratic Congressman seem torn….
NYTimes Frank Rich tries to argue that you cannot be for troop escalation in Afghanistan, and for labeling Fort Hood murderer Maj Hasan a terrorist. He basically says instead of rooting out and extinguishing evil, we should work harder to understand it, all while vilifying the right.
President Obama and Eric Holder have decided to put self-proclaimed 9-1-1 Mastermind on trial in civilian court in New York. He also plans to put many more captured enemy combatants into our civilian legal system… Has this been done before? Yes. Should it be done now, you be the judge.
MacGregor, We’ve went round and round a few times on the media fairness/quality issue. I’m not trying to stir up an entire new round of posts on this subject, but I am going to share this link which I think lends to my original thesis, Macneil/Lehrer is about the last honest news outlet left that can’t also be described as entertainment, fluff, and propaganda. Here you go.

Thanks Gabe for not hitting the beehive. Heads should roll… In fact that’s what johnny said when it happened the first time.
“last honest news outlet”
I almost never watch the network news. But I’m curios as to why PBS is honest and the other network channels aren’t. For me, Lehrer uses David Brooks as this credible conservative commentator and that completely turns me off.
Gabe,
Is that Jim Leyher? Where can i see them or read from them?
