In the ever-growing series of hypocritical liberal statements that don’t get coverage in the mainstream media, add this comment from Gore Vidal on an edition of Joy Behar’s new Headline News show this week. While discussing how President Obama is “too intelligent” for Americans, Vidal railed against Americans and our “lack of education” adding that we are being laughed at by the rest of the World. Behar and Vidal wax poetic about the brilliance of Obama and how America was “shocked” in comparison to Bush and just can’t handle the beaming light radiating from Obama’s being (I added that last part for dramatic effect – but I’m not exaggerating too far). But that’s only the beginning of the idiocy.
By Behar mentioning Bush – Vidal is prompted into sharing with the television audience his half-assed, retarded cowboy impression of Pres. Bush. Then, Vidal unexpectedly said something that can classified between stupidity and felonious treason – “That’s one murder I missed not committing”. Veteran TV Host Joy Behar, unable to think on her feet, supports Vidal’s statement and says, “It’s too late anyway.” It is unbelievable this comment can go unchallenged in the media – a direct “I wish I could have murdered President Bush”, when they spent a week attacking a political cartoon that wasnt even about Obama. Hypocrites to the nth degree.

Just add it to the overflowing list of examples of double standard in the media. Maybe I have just become numb to it but i hardly even care anymore about the the differences anymore. When a supposedly news show anchor agrees with their guest that a former president should have been KILLED….. I am speechless.
Ha good point Tim, but we gotta try and expose these types of hypocrisies. Did you hear the gem from CNN’s Rick Sanchez? You gotta see this, shining example of stage 1 thinking. Little did these women know they were DEAD wrong, and every culture does this, its almost a part of being American. We can write a whole post about this too…
