PATRICK SWAYZE: 1952-2009

Passing Of A Legend
Swayze was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer in March of 2008. Although painful and terminal and without the use of painkillers, he continued to work, finishing all 13 episodes of his recent series called “The Beast”, which I happened to think was amazing. Im looking forward to buying the season as soon as i can.

Greatest Movie Ever Made
Swayze was best known for his work in the classics “The Outsiders”, “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost” from the 80’s and 90’s. My personal favorites of his included “Next of Kin”, “Point Break”, and of course the asskicking epic “Road House” where he played an undersized Bouncer named Dalton. Amongst the multiple beatings Dalton put on unruly bargoers he coined many one-liners that will live on for all time including, “Pain Don’t Hurt” and “You’re Too Stupid To Have A Good Time.”

Swayze's Wife of 34 Years
Swayze, an avid dancer and singer/songwriter as well, was the epitome of the sensitive tough guy, and was well loved and revered by millions. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Neimi, his work will be sorely missed, but his movies, and influence will live on for years to come.
I liked Dirty Dancing.
I Like Roadhouse mike. Agree to agree.
The weird thing about Patrick Swayze’s passing is that this is the first “celebrity” death that actually made me sad. Not just because ive loved his movies for years and have joked about Roadhouse forever, but because i felt that he wasnt the typical celebrity, and that he really was a good man.
