A few times per week, around noon time we will post a few op-ed pieces from newspapers, mainstream websites, or elsewhere from the blogosphere:
Don’t expect to see any money back from the General Motors and Chrysler bailouts – Washington Post
Thomas Freidman blames the legislative problems in Washington D.C. not on the party in charge, but on the party with no power whatsoever – New York Times
Even in jolly ‘ol England, they realize how screwed up the Health Care debate has become – The Guardian
Real campaign finance reform would be welcome. The McCain Feingold bill was more or less gutted and the 527 groups grabbed hold of the reins. The Center for Responsive Politics says that Joe Wilson has been given 398,346 (I added these three numbers together) from Pharma, Health Care Ind. and old folks homes. Switching to the Dem side, I noticed that the insurance industry through Pelosi a big ol’ gala, friggin hypocrisy. Represent the constituency please!
