wHOTrying to rank and grade health care systems across the globe is a very complex and difficult task. There are so many variables and no easy way to uniformly grade them. The World Health Organization was the last group to try this daunting task. Their reports have also been the weapon used against America’s health care system. There are two glaring deficiencies in Americas treatment according to WHO; Infant Mortality Rates and Life Expectancy. How is it possible that America ranks so low compared to the rest of the world in these categories? (more…)

 Jake Tapper is arguably the best White House correspondent and inquirer in the business today. During last Thursday’s Health Care (and calling a police officer “stupid”) Press Conference, he asked the most direct and common question being asked around dinner tables across America.  In an apparent momentary slippage from the transparency Obama loves to preach, he deflected like a Pro Bowl cornerback.  (more…)

By now you have probably heard of the fiasco involving Henry Louis Gates Jr., the distinguished Professor at Harvard University.  On July 16th, Cambridge Massachusetts police officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a potential breaking and entering.  This simple call has now led to a firestorm of media coverage over the past several days invoking emotions and heightening racial tensions.  (more…)
